About Andrew Hahn

Andrew Hahn looking broody.

Bear with me while we have the mandatory humblebrag session.

In the back of a fine art class, I sculpted clay into the a bust of a man. It wasn't extraordinary work, but I was pleased with it. My teacher, kind and encouraging, paid me a complement. In that moment, flush with the I love art vibes of a young university student, I said, "I really wish I could make art for a living." Without skipping a beat, my teacher said, "You might look into graphic design."

I had no idea what this graphic design stuff was, but if it meant I could make art and get paid for it, I was all in.

That hinge point started the path of a 20+ year career. It's not been a straight path and I've meandered into web development and product marketing, but the core of my skillset lays squarely with design. Brand, product, UX, collateral, and more. I even have "designed by" credits on a dozen book jackets.

Currently I'm freelancing. I launched a new productized service (all you can eat design for a flat-rate fee) that's ideal for companies who don't have the need for a full-time creative but also don't want the hassle of a flaky freelancer. Check it out at PaperPixels.co and see if it's a good fit.
